Job Overview:
We are looking for a highly skilled Electrical Technician to support our Facility Management division in Dubai, specifically at a data center site. This role is critical in ensuring electrical systems operate at peak efficiency to deliver 99.999% uptime for data center operations.
Key Responsibilities:

Conduct routine building and equipment maintenance inspections

Monitor, log, and maintain data center systems such as UPS, switchgear, generators, BMS, DCIM, ELV systems

Perform preventive maintenance and corrective electrical repairs
-
Respond swiftly to emergency maintenance calls
-
Create and manage job cards via CAFM (FSI) mobile app
-
Maintain electrical and ELV systems and support associated infrastructure
-
Comply with safety protocols and support after-hours operational needs

Work rotating shifts (24/7 operations) and participate in training and safety briefings
Skills & Qualifications:
Technical Skills:
-
Sound knowledge of power systems (UPS, Generators, Panels, Busways)

Basic understanding of HVAC, fire safety, BMS, and ELV systems
-
Hands-on experience in electrical commissioning and maintenance
-
Skilled in fault diagnosis, testing, and repairs of electrical infrastructure

Basic English communication and PC literacy

Persistent, organized, and self-motivated

Able to work independently and under pressure

Excellent problem-solving and multitasking ability

Strong team player with interpersonal and negotiation skills
Educational & Professional Background:

Diploma/ITI in Electrical or Electronics
-
Minimum 3 years of experience in data center facilities management
-
2 years of experience in electrical commissioning/testing in critical environments
