Electrical Site Manager | Hitachi Energy

Hitachi Energy, a global leader in electrification and sustainable energy technologies, is seeking an Electrical Site Manager for its Abu Dhabi operations. This role involves leading all on-site project activities, ensuring cost-effective execution, quality compliance, schedule adherence, and health & safety standards throughout project start-up, construction, commissioning, and maintenance phases.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and coordinate on-site activities with project manager, resources, equipment, and milestones.

  • Liaise with customers, authorities, banks, and suppliers to support field operations.

  • Ensure compliance with contract specifications, quality standards, schedule, and safety requirements.

  • Maintain and implement detailed Health & Safety (H&S) plans for each work package.

  • Supervise handling, storage, and installation of project equipment.

  • Manage subcontractors to meet quality and progress targets.

  • Monitor project costs, forecast expenditures, and control local purchasing within limits.

  • Maintain accurate and updated documentation and records for construction activities.

  • Promote Hitachi Energy’s core values of safety, integrity, and accountability.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Power, Electronics, or Communication.

  • 8–10 years of relevant project experience.

  • Strong leadership, communication, and team management skills.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and planning tools.

  • Ability to work under pressure and boost team morale.

  • Fluent in spoken and written English.
