Key Responsibilities

Perform electrical, mechanical, and mechatronic maintenance, assembly, and wiring of automated machinery and components.

Interpret and work with electrical circuit diagrams, pneumatic, and hydraulic schematics.

Conduct inspections, cleaning, lubrication, and preventive maintenance of production equipment.

Inspect and verify machine safety systems and components to ensure compliance and operational reliability.

Optimize automation solutions using PLCs, robotics, industrial vision systems, drive technologies, and safety systems.

Program, commission, and troubleshoot PLC controllers, safety controllers, and HMI interfaces.

Integrate robotic and automated technologies into existing manufacturing processes.

Execute functional and performance testing, diagnose faults, and enhance control programs.

Prepare technical documentation, SOPs, and training materials for internal teams.

Collaborate with toolmakers, engineers, and external partners on production and improvement projects.

Train employees on machine operation and new automation technologies.

Support implementation of Industry 4.0 tools such as additive manufacturing, AMRs, and smart diagnostics.
Qualifications & Experience
-
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related discipline.

Minimum 3 years of experience in industrial automation or mechatronic maintenance.

Experience with cam-controlled machines such as Bihler (preferred), Wafios, or Finzer.

Familiarity with high-speed automatic assembly systems (e.g., Stiwa, PIA, Festo, Omron, B&R, DA Automation).
Technical Skills
-
Knowledge of Arburg or Engel injection molding machines and multi-component tooling.

Experience with auxiliary infrastructure such as central drying systems (e.g., Wittmann), cooling systems, and tooling setups.

Proficiency in CAD, PLC (SPS), and HMI systems.

Ability to interpret electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic circuit diagrams.

Programming knowledge is an advantage.
