Position: Electrical Engineering Director – Facilities Management

About the Role:

We are seeking an innovative and solutions-oriented Electrical Engineering Director to oversee electrical systems within a prestigious and globally renowned property in the UAE. This leadership role involves managing electrical maintenance and facilities operations, ensuring safety, efficiency, and world-class service delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the electrical engineering department, overseeing the design, implementation, and maintenance of electrical systems in hospitality facilities.

• Ensure compliance with local and international electrical codes, regulations, and safety standards.

• Develop and implement electrical Facilities Management (FM) solutions across the property using the CAFM system.

• Collaborate with other disciplines and departments to ensure smooth project execution and optimal facility operations.

• Provide technical guidance and support to engineering teams for troubleshooting and electrical system improvements.

• Conduct regular inspections, assessments, and audits to optimize system performance and identify improvement opportunities.

• Implement predictive maintenance programs aligned with industry best practices.

• Foster a culture of safety, compliance, and continuous improvement through training and development programs.

Requirements:

• Technical certifications or qualifications in Electrical Engineering are highly desirable.

• Minimum 10 years of experience in electrical engineering, with at least 5 years in a leadership role in facilities management or hospitality.

• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, building codes, safety standards, and energy management systems.

• Proven project management experience in engineering, including budgeting and resource management.

• Excellent problem-solving skills and innovative thinking with the ability to implement effective strategies.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work collaboratively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
