Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our civil engineering and construction operations in Dubai. The role involves designing, executing, and supervising electrical systems for large-scale infrastructure and construction projects while ensuring compliance with UAE regulations, safety standards, and project requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, review, and implement electrical systems for civil and infrastructure construction projects in line with applicable codes and standards.

• Provide on-site technical supervision and conduct inspections to ensure electrical installations comply with approved drawings and specifications.

• Coordinate closely with project managers, architects, civil engineers, and MEP teams to ensure seamless system integration.

• Prepare detailed electrical drawings, layouts, specifications, and technical reports using CAD and other engineering tools.

• Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve electrical issues efficiently to prevent project delays.

• Ensure strict adherence to health, safety, and environmental regulations across all electrical works.

• Support procurement activities by evaluating and recommending electrical materials, equipment, and vendors.

• Liaise with contractors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery, quality compliance, and proper installation of electrical components.

• Stay updated with emerging electrical technologies, industry trends, and best practices relevant to construction and infrastructure projects.

Candidate Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.

• Minimum proven experience as an Electrical Engineer in civil engineering or construction projects, preferably within the UAE or GCC.

• Strong understanding of electrical design, installation, testing, and maintenance in construction environments.

• Knowledge of UAE electrical codes, standards, and safety regulations.

• Proficiency in CAD software and electrical design tools.

• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

• Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary teams.

• Ability to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and work under pressure.

• Willingness to work on-site and travel as required by project demands.
