Job Title: Electrical Engineer 

Job Description:

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Electrical Engineer to lead and manage all electrical components of interior fit-out projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both design and on-site execution, ensuring that all electrical works are completed in alignment with project specifications, safety standards, and delivery timelines.

Key Responsibilities

Design & Planning:

• Review architectural and interior design drawings to develop comprehensive electrical layout plans

• Prepare load schedules, single-line diagrams, riser diagrams, and circuiting plans based on project needs

• Coordinate with HVAC, plumbing, civil, and interior design teams for service integration

• Perform load calculations, cable sizing, and select appropriate switchgear and electrical panels

Project Execution:

• Supervise on-site electrical installations, including lighting, power, distribution boards, earthing, and ELV systems

• Ensure work aligns with approved shop drawings, local codes, and project specifications

• Conduct system inspections, testing, and ensure timely resolution of any defects or snags

• Manage subcontractors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery and installation of electrical components

Documentation & Compliance:

• Prepare BOQs, technical submittals, and method statements

• Liaise with local authorities to obtain approvals and schedule inspections

• Maintain accurate project documentation including test reports, site logs, and as-built drawings

Quality Control & Safety:

• Enforce adherence to electrical safety standards and local regulations

• Identify and manage risks associated with electrical work

• Conduct toolbox talks and ensure safety compliance across electrical site teams

Education & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline

• Minimum 4–5 years of experience in electrical works within interior fit-out projects

• Proven track record of delivering projects on time, safely, and within budget
