Outlier is seeking talented Estonian language writers to assist in training generative AI models. This remote freelance position offers flexible working hours, allowing you to work at your convenience. You will be responsible for reading Estonian texts, ranking AI-generated responses, writing short stories on specified topics in Estonian, and evaluating the factual accuracy of AI-generated content.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Text Evaluation:

   • Read Estonian texts and rank responses generated by AI models.

2. Content Creation:

   • Write short stories in Estonian on assigned topics.

3. Accuracy Assessment:

   • Evaluate whether AI-generated Estonian text is factually accurate.

Desired Experience:

• Professional experience as a translator or writer (copywriter, journalist, technical writer, editor, etc.).

• Background in the humanities or writing-related academic fields.

• Completion of a bachelor’s program in writing or related disciplines.

• Master’s program in creative writing or similar fields is a plus.

Compensation:

• The current rate for Estonian writing experts on primary projects is approximately 30 USD per hour.

• Rates vary depending on experience, skill assessment, location, project needs, and other factors. Higher rates may apply to those with a Ph.D.

• Lower rates may apply for non-core activities such as project initiation training or overtime work.

• Some projects may offer incentivized pay. Please review payment terms for each project.
