The British International School Abu Dhabi is seeking a talented and motivated Economics Teacher to join our high-performing team for the 2025–26 academic year. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a dynamic and internationally recognized school that follows the UK National Curriculum through IGCSE and the IB Diploma Programme.
As an Economics Teacher, you will inspire and challenge students from diverse backgrounds and support their academic and personal development in a multicultural and ambitious learning environment.
Key Responsibilities

Plan and deliver outstanding lessons in Economics to secondary students (IGCSE and IB DP levels)

Contribute to a culture of academic excellence, enjoyment, and student well-being

Engage in school life, including pastoral duties and extra-curricular activities

Build strong partnerships with parents to support student progress

Collaborate with colleagues to improve learning outcomes and professional practice
What We’re Looking For
-
A qualified teacher with a degree in Economics (or related subject) and teaching qualification (PGCE or equivalent)

Minimum 2 years’ experience teaching Economics in a UK curriculum or international school setting

Experience with the IB Diploma Programme is strongly preferred

A growth mindset, excellent communication skills, and a collaborative approach

A deep passion for education and a commitment to continuous professional development
