About the Opportunity

A well-established Dubai nursery is seeking an experienced, dynamic, and passionate Early Childhood Centre (ECC) Manager to lead its team and ensure the highest standards of early years education and care.

This is an exciting leadership opportunity for a dedicated early years professional who is committed to excellence in teaching, compliance, and operational management within a nurturing and inspiring learning environment.


Role Overview

The ECC Manager will oversee daily nursery operations, ensuring excellence in teaching, learning, compliance, and staff performance. You will lead a diverse team, build strong partnerships with families, and uphold the nursery’s vision, mission, and values.

The role requires compliance oversight aligned with the EYFS framework and UAE regulatory standards, including the Knowledge and Human Development Authority, Dubai Municipality, Dubai Municipality Food Control Department, and Roads and Transport Authority.


Key Responsibilities

Leadership & Operations

  • Lead day-to-day nursery operations in alignment with organisational values

  • Inspire and motivate staff to deliver high-quality teaching and care

  • Maintain strong relationships with parents and the wider community

  • Ensure full regulatory compliance with relevant UAE authorities

  • Oversee enrolment processes, tours, and public reputation

  • Safeguard the health, safety, and wellbeing of children and staff

  • Support marketing and social media content aligned with the nursery ethos

Management & Administration

  • Contribute to policy development and review

  • Manage procurement and resource planning

  • Support recruitment, onboarding, and staff supervision

  • Liaise with Finance, Admissions, HR, Facilities, and Marketing teams

  • Maintain accurate registration and fee records

  • Conduct risk assessments and uphold health and safety standards

  • Organise nursery events and community initiatives

People & Pedagogy

  • Lead staff induction and ongoing professional supervision

  • Support planning and delivery of EYFS-aligned programmes

  • Review children’s developmental progress reports

  • Mentor and coach educators

  • Promote reflective practice and continuous improvement


Qualifications & Experience

Education

  • Degree in Education or equivalent

  • Recognised Early Childhood qualification (CACHE Level 3/5, Montessori, NNEB, or equivalent)

Experience

  • Minimum 4 years of early years teaching experience

  • Leadership or management experience within an early years setting

  • Experience in an international or multicultural environment preferred

Knowledge & Skills

  • Strong understanding of the EYFS framework

  • Knowledge of UAE early years regulatory requirements

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office

  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills

Role Details

  • Working Hours: 7:30am – 5:30pm (additional hours as required)

  • Annual Leave: 30 calendar days in line with UAE Labour Law

  • Salary: AED 15,000 – 18,000 per month
