UN Women is the United Nations entity dedicated to gender equality and the empowerment of women. The UAE Liaison Office, serving the GCC region, focuses on advocacy, resource mobilization, and partnerships to support UN Women’s global mandate.

Key Responsibilities

Reliable and Secure Driving Services

• Safely transport the Head of Office, senior UN officials, and visitors.

• Handle airport pickups/drop-offs and visa/customs formalities when needed.

• Deliver and collect mail, documents, and items across government, embassies, and UN offices.

Vehicle Maintenance and Safety

• Conduct routine checks: brakes, tires, oil, lights, etc.

• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and ensure compliance with UN MOSS (Minimum Operating Security Standards).

• Address minor repairs and arrange for major servicing as required.

Log and Documentation Management

• Maintain daily logs and reports on mileage, fuel, and servicing.

• Ensure that documents such as insurance, maps, and safety kits are always available and updated.

Administrative and Logistic Support

• Assist office staff with photocopying, filing, and bill payments.

• Support the mailing and distribution of materials as needed.

Qualifications

• Education: Completion of secondary education.

• License: Valid UAE driving license required.

• Experience: Minimum 2 years of professional driving experience, preferably with a UN agency, embassy, or international organization.

• Language: Fluency in Arabic required. Working knowledge of English is desirable.
