Join Egis, a global leader in consulting and engineering, as a Marine Draughtsman based on-site in Dubai. In this critical role, you’ll be responsible for producing detailed CAD drawings and 3D models that support the design and construction of marine structures such as quay walls, marinas, breakwaters, and coastal protections. Collaborate with engineers and fabrication teams to deliver high-quality technical outputs aligned with project specifications.
🔹 Key Responsibilities:

Develop full sets of drawings including general arrangement, shop, fabrication, as-built, NOC, and structural drawings.

Create CAD models for structural analysis and digital fabrication.

Coordinate with design, site, and fabrication engineers for technical input and clarification.
-
Conduct clash analysis and contribute to technical solutions.

Verify contract documents against shop drawings to ensure alignment.

Coordinate with suppliers, manufacturers, and consultants for design approvals.

Follow internal quality assurance and control protocols.

Attend technical meetings and contribute to design improvement discussions.
🔹 Requirements:

Diploma/Certificate in Structural Drafting or Marine Engineering.

Minimum 5 years of experience in marine structural drafting, preferably in the UAE.

Strong knowledge of marine structures: quay walls, marinas, revetments, breakwaters, etc.

Expertise in AutoCAD Civil 3D, Revit, MicroStation; experience with Tekla or Advance Steel is a plus.

Strong understanding of engineering standards and construction detailing.

Proficient in MS Office and other technical documentation tools.

UAE-based candidates preferred.
