We are seeking a Marine Draughtsman (Office Based) to join our engineering team in Dubai. The ideal candidate will bring extensive experience in marine structural drafting, proficient in CAD tools, and a strong understanding of coastal infrastructure including marinas, quay walls, revetments, breakwaters, and beach profiling.

This role involves the preparation of detailed technical drawings and 3D models in line with project specifications, quality standards, and coordination with both design engineers and external stakeholders. You will support all stages of the engineering lifecycle from conceptual planning to fabrication detailing.

🔹 Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare detailed CAD drawings (general layout, structural, shop, fabrication, as-built, NOC, survey) for marine construction.

• Create technical 3D models for fabrication and structural analysis.

• Support engineers and site teams by developing working sketches and resolving design issues.

• Coordinate with suppliers and manufacturers for technical inputs and data exchange.

• Verify and compare project documentation with drawings to ensure contract alignment.

• Participate in technical meetings and provide design input for project improvements.

• Ensure compliance with internal quality control procedures and client specifications.

• Maintain design documentation and progress reporting to the Department Manager.

🔹 Requirements:

• Proven knowledge in marine structure drafting and modeling (coastal, port, and offshore elements).

• Expertise in AutoCAD Civil 3D, MicroStation, Revit; experience in Tekla or Advance Steel is a plus.

• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in structural or marine drafting.

• Strong grasp of best engineering practices and drafting standards.

• Ability to work independently in a collaborative team environment.

• Proficient in MS Office Suite and general computer literacy.

• Must be currently based in the UAE.
