Job Overview

Guildhall is seeking an experienced Structural Draftsman to support airport infrastructure projects in Dubai. The role focuses on producing accurate, high-quality structural drawings in compliance with aviation regulations, international design standards, and project specifications.

The successful candidate will work closely with structural engineers and multidisciplinary teams to translate design concepts into detailed construction and shop drawings.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare structural drawings including GA drawings, detailed drawings, reinforcement drawings, and shop drawings

• Develop drawings for airport facilities such as terminals, runways, taxiways, aprons, and ancillary buildings

• Coordinate with structural engineers to interpret design calculations and technical requirements

• Update and revise drawings based on design changes, site conditions, and consultant feedback

• Ensure full compliance with international codes, local authority regulations, and airport standards

• Coordinate with architectural, MEP, and civil teams to identify and resolve design clashes

• Maintain drawing registers, revision logs, and document control records

• Assist in preparing accurate as-built drawings upon project completion

Candidate Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering

• 3–5 years of experience as a Structural Draftsman, preferably on airport or large-scale infrastructure projects

• Proficiency in AutoCAD (Revit experience is an advantage)

• Strong understanding of reinforced concrete and steel structures

• Familiarity with international standards such as ACI, BS, and Eurocodes

• Ability to work under tight deadlines and collaborate across multiple disciplines
