Mandarin Oriental Downtown, Dubai is seeking a courteous and professional Doorman to join its Concierge team. This full-time, on-site role is ideal for hospitality professionals who take pride in creating memorable first impressions. As a Doorman, you will be the face of the hotel, welcoming guests with warmth and precision, managing arrivals and departures, and ensuring a seamless guest experience from curbside to check-in.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet guests upon arrival and departure, assist with luggage, and open car and hotel doors
• Manage street traffic and maintain cleanliness and order at the hotel entrance
• Escort guests to elevators and assist with taxis and transportation
• Handle department keys, radios, and phones securely
• Communicate effectively with the front office and other departments
• Uphold safety standards and hotel policies at all times
• Collect guest preferences and resolve or escalate guest concerns
• Contribute to a positive team environment and attend staff meetings

Requirements:

• Senior School qualification or equivalent
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a 5-star hotel, with at least 2 years in a Door or Bell role
• Prior experience in the Middle East hospitality sector preferred
• Fluent in English; Arabic or other language skills are a plus
• Strong interpersonal, organizational, and multitasking skills
• Physically fit and able to stand for extended periods
• Willingness to work flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
