Document Controller – AECOM (Dubai, UAE)

AECOM is seeking a Document Controller to provide administrative support to the project team, ensuring effective communication and efficient project operations. This role involves managing documentation, coordinating meetings, and assisting the project office in various administrative tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Liaise with Project Manager, Engineers, and external contacts on behalf of the project.

  • Coordinate and organize meetings and seminars, preparing presentations, agendas, and minutes.

  • Perform clerical duties such as word processing, photocopying, filing, and minute-taking.

  • Screen incoming mails and telephone calls, redirecting correspondence when necessary.

  • Organize travel requests for the Project Manager and Engineers.

  • Maintain confidential records and file reports for easy retrieval.

  • Propose improvements to internal processes for efficient administration.

  • Keep computerized records of service users referred to the project.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma (equivalent to the completion of the twelfth grade).

  • Typing Speed: 60 words per minute.

  • Experience: Minimum 7 years of experience in similar projects, with at least 3 years in the UAE.

  • Software: Aconex experience is preferred.

  • Other Requirements: Middle East experience preferred.
