Division Director – Bridge Construction (RTA Projects) | Full-Time | UAE
Job Overview:
A global engineering leader is seeking a highly experienced Division Director to oversee strategic, operational, and commercial functions within its Bridge Construction division. The successful candidate must have direct experience managing RTA bridge projects in the UAE and a proven ability to lead teams, optimize operations, and drive business growth.
Key Responsibilities:

Develop and execute strategic plans to meet divisional goals and contribute to overall company objectives.

Lead financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and cost control to ensure profitability.

Mentor and manage a high-performing team of managers, engineers, and support staff.

Coordinate with C-level executives and other division heads for strategic alignment.
-
Identify and pursue new business opportunities to drive growth and market share.

Implement and maintain efficient operational systems and project workflows.
-
Analyze market trends and competitor activities to inform business strategies.
-
Ensure adherence to internal policies, industry standards, and UAE regulations.

Represent the division at high-level meetings, conferences, and industry forums.

Lead key negotiations with sub-contractors, vendors, and project stakeholders.

Review and approve critical commercial, administrative, and technical documentation.

Monitor project performance, reallocate resources as needed, and ensure on-time, high-quality delivery.
Requirements:

Proven experience in managing Bridge Construction projects involving RTA (Dubai Roads and Transport Authority) is mandatory.

Strong leadership, analytical, and strategic planning abilities.

Exceptional organizational and decision-making skills.

Excellent team-building and interpersonal communication.

Proficient in relevant software and fluent in written and spoken English.

Arabic language skills are an added advantage.

Must be currently based in the UAE.
