Medscape, a division of WebMD, is seeking a Director, Strategic Accounts to lead sales efforts across the UAE and the Gulf region. This role involves selling Medscape’s suite of digital engagement solutions to senior brand managers, marketing teams, and agencies within the pharmaceutical industry. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of pharma marketing and digital advertising, with a strong network in the sector.
Key Responsibilities:

Identify, pitch, and secure new business with pharmaceutical brand managers and marketing teams

Build and maintain long-term strategic relationships with key clients

Sell digital solutions including branded content, targeted media campaigns, virtual events, and educational programs

Develop tailored, data-driven marketing strategies in line with industry regulations

Represent Medscape at industry events and client meetings across the UAE and Gulf region
Qualifications:
-
5+ years of experience in selling digital marketing solutions to pharma brands (experience in medical devices or biotech is also considered)

Existing network of pharma brand managers and digital marketing teams in the UAE/GCC
-
Strong understanding of pharma marketing regulations and digital advertising strategies

Proven track record of exceeding sales targets and driving revenue growth

Excellent presentation, communication, and influencing skills
