LINKVIVA, one of the Middle East’s leading experiential agencies, is hiring a Director of Operations for a contract position running from mid-May 2025 to the end of January 2026. Based initially in the Dubai office and transitioning onsite from October/November through January, this role involves overseeing the full operations lifecycle of a high-profile, multi-zone public festival. You’ll report directly to the Project Director and manage everything from infrastructure and logistics to public safety and government liaison.
Key Responsibilities:

Lead full-cycle operational planning from concept through execution and debrief.

Coordinate with government bodies, clients, and international vendors to ensure smooth delivery.

Recruit, train, and manage internal teams and external contractors across all event functions.

Oversee live event operations including crowd management, ticketing, HSE, and guest services.

Run the Main Operations Centre (MOC) during the festival, serving as the operational command.

Manage operations budget, lead procurement cycles, and drive cost-effective strategies.

Implement and monitor HSE standards and emergency preparedness.

Deliver post-event documentation and continuous improvement insights.
Ideal Candidate:

Experience: Minimum 10 years in event operations, with a strong background in festivals or large-scale public events.

Skills: Strong leadership, stakeholder management, budget handling, and communication skills.

Personality: Resilient, collaborative, and solutions-driven under pressure.

Region Knowledge: Prior experience in the Middle East is required.

Language: Fluent in English (Arabic is a plus).

Other: Valid UAE driving license is mandatory.
