Director, Digital Experience Department
Ministry of Education – UAE Dubai , UAE
  • The Ministry of Education – UAE is seeking a Director of the Digital Experience Department to oversee the Ministry’s digital strategy, service design, online initiatives, and team leadership. This full-time on-site role, based in Dubai, will involve driving human-centred design, digital adoption, and productivity, and implementing innovative technologies such as AI and Web3. The Director will report to the Assistant Undersecretary of Digital Transformation and AI.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the digital experience strategy and initiatives within the Ministry.

  • Oversee service and experience designs for digital channels and software, ensuring user-centric approaches.

  • Foster digital adoption and productivity across various teams and services.

  • Evangelize human-centred design principles and ensure their integration within projects.

  • Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams using agile/scrum methodologies.

  • Ensure effective communication and outreach through digital channels.

  • Stay current with developments in AI and Web3 technologies to support the Ministry’s objectives.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Expertise in digital strategy, human-centred service design, and UX/UI management.

  • Strong skills in software management, digital channels, AI, and/or Web3 technologies.

  • Proven experience in managing multi-team agile/scrum operations.

  • Excellent communication, copywriting, and team collaboration skills.

  • Knowledge of the education sector and education platforms is a plus.

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a related field.

  • Proficiency in Arabic and English (IELTS 7+ or equivalent).
