Standard Chartered is hiring a Director, Digital Assets Portfolio Enablement to oversee and support their portfolio of Digital Asset (DA) initiatives. This role will work closely with initiative leads to map initiatives against the Group’s Digital Assets strategy, creating visibility and ensuring successful execution. The role will be pivotal in addressing blockers, enhancing collaboration, and operationalising risk frameworks to enable DA projects within the bank.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with initiative leads and Digital Asset teams to support the execution and delivery of DA portfolio initiatives aligned with Group strategy.

• Work on implementing the DA Higher Risk Framework and provide ongoing reporting to risk committees.

• Support the implementation of the Cryptoasset Admission Framework.

• Identify blockers to DA initiative execution and work with stakeholders to remove them.

• Collaborate with Technology and Operations functions to ensure efficient support for DA initiatives.

• Contribute to the development of frameworks and tools like the Cryptoasset Assessment framework.

• Drive support and collaboration for DA projects, ensuring all stakeholders are aligned and on board.

• Simplify complex ideas and communicate them effectively to generate stakeholder buy-in.

Skills and Experience:

• In-depth market knowledge of Digital Assets, Crypto, and Web3, with prior experience at a regulated institution or fintech.

• Experience working with large groups of complex stakeholders, including risk teams and regulators.

• Expertise in executing business plans and initiatives, particularly with high-growth companies.

• Excellent presentation and PowerPoint skills.

Qualifications:

• Familiarity with modern productivity tools such as ADO, Teams, Slack, Trello, Mural, Jira, Confluence.

• Relevant certifications in technology or crypto/blockchain preferred.

• University graduate preferred.

• Excellent spoken and written communication skills.
