A leading education solutions provider is seeking a strategic Director of Business Development & Market Expansion to drive regional growth and large-scale adoption of digital and blended learning solutions across the MENA region. This opportunity is managed by Inspire Selection and is based in Dubai.

Role Overview

This senior leadership role is responsible for accelerating revenue growth, expanding market presence, and securing high-value corporate and government partnerships. The successful candidate will bring deep expertise in complex B2B sales within professional education or EdTech, along with the ability to translate market insights into executable commercial strategies.

Key Responsibilities

Sales Execution & Market Growth

  • Lead regional sales strategy and execution to drive revenue growth and increase market share.

  • Expand adoption of digital, blended, and non-digital learning solutions through targeted market positioning.

  • Translate strategic growth objectives into measurable sales plans and successful market entry initiatives.

  • Secure large-scale corporate and government contracts while managing a robust pipeline of strategic opportunities.

  • Monitor competitor activity, customer insights, and sales performance to refine go-to-market strategies.

Relationship & Stakeholder Management

  • Build and maintain senior-level relationships with C-suite leaders, HR executives, and L&D decision-makers.

  • Own the full sales lifecycle—from prospecting and needs analysis to negotiation and contract closure.

  • Foster long-term partnerships to drive renewals, cross-selling, and client satisfaction.

  • Collaborate with internal teams and regional partners to ensure successful delivery and localisation.

Commercial Insight & Enablement

  • Provide leadership with market intelligence on trends, client expectations, and regional requirements.

  • Oversee development of compelling proposals, presentations, and sales enablement materials.

  • Support internal alignment between product, marketing, and delivery teams to ensure market relevance.

Qualifications & Experience

  • 15+ years of professional experience, including at least 7 years in senior sales or business development leadership roles.

  • Proven success selling digital learning, e-learning, or EdTech solutions at scale.

  • Demonstrated record of exceeding revenue targets within MENA corporate and government sectors.

  • Experience with global education or professional services organisations is highly desirable.

  • Fluency in Arabic and English with strong executive communication and presentation skills.

  • Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred.

  • Strong understanding of corporate learning environments, L&D strategies, and training delivery models.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Monthly salary of AED 35,000 – 40,000 (inclusive of allowances).
