• A leading real estate developer in the UAE is looking for a Senior Development Manager to join their team. This full-time, on-site role involves overseeing large residential and hospitality projects across the Middle East. The Development Manager will work closely with various internal departments and external stakeholders to ensure the successful delivery of projects from design to completion.

The ideal candidate will have a solid background in development management, with experience in project budgeting, design reviews, and team leadership. Strong knowledge of UAE regulations and the ability to manage project risks and cashflow are essential.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with internal departments (strategy, finance, procurement, etc.) to ensure project success.

• Develop project design briefs and scopes aligned with project feasibility and business case.

• Conduct design reviews to ensure projects meet budget, time, and quality standards.

• Manage project budgets and ensure timely delivery within financial constraints.

• Stay updated on construction, design trends, technologies, and operational tools.

• Ensure compliance with building codes and regulations.

• Build and maintain relationships with clients, contractors, government authorities, and senior management.

• Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure designs meet business goals.

• Manage project cashflow, payments, and variations.

• Identify project risks and create mitigation plans.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Master’s preferred).

• Minimum 10 years of experience in development management.

• Proven experience on the client/developer side, delivering high-quality projects.

• Strong communication, organizational, and presentation skills.

• Technical background and leadership ability.

• Knowledge of UAE authority regulations.

• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

• PMP certification is a plus.
