Job Purpose:

We are urgently hiring a Design Manager to lead complex multidisciplinary projects for one of the region’s most prestigious architecture and engineering firms. This role is critical in managing the full design life cycle—ensuring timely delivery, quality execution, and budget alignment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the design process across architecture, structure, and engineering disciplines

• Act as the primary liaison between client and company; manage expectations and foster engagement across all project stages

• Set design goals and work closely with concept designers to ensure alignment with client requirements

• Oversee and review design submissions, ensuring adherence to codes, regulations, and client expectations

• Define team roles, lead planning/scheduling, and ensure on-time, high-quality project delivery

• Perform in-depth reviews of external consultants’ work and provide guidance to internal design teams

• Support the hiring and development of talented designers, while fostering a culture of creativity and innovation

• Engage in strategic marketing and business development initiatives

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture (Registered Architect)

• Minimum 15 years of design and project management experience, preferably in the Gulf region

• Proven leadership in managing large, multidisciplinary teams on complex projects

• Proficiency in Revit, BIM, AutoCAD, MicroStation, MS Office

• Certified in LEED and PMP – Mandatory

• Strong communication and analytical skills

• Experience working with major architectural consultancies is a strong plus

• Excellent command of English
