Job Title: Design Estimation Engineer 

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Design Estimation Engineer – Fire Protection Systems to join a leading fire safety solutions company in the UAE. The role involves preparing detailed designs, accurate cost estimates, and BOQs for fire protection systems, while coordinating with internal teams, clients, and authorities to ensure full compliance with industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create design layouts, cost estimates, and BOQs for fire protection systems, including emergency lighting, PAVA, and fire alarms

• Ensure all designs meet DCD, NFPA, and UAE fire code standards

• Utilize tools like AutoCAD, Dia LUX, and MS Office for design and documentation

• Provide technical support to sales and project teams

• Conduct site visits and coordinate with civil defense and other authorities for design approvals

• Liaise with consultants, contractors, and developers for technical meetings and design solutions

• Maintain organized records of designs, proposals, and approvals

• Stay updated with industry trends, regulatory changes, and product innovations

• Report regularly to management on design activity, proposals, and progress

Job Details:

• Position Title: Design Estimation Engineer

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering

• Experience: Minimum 6 years of UAE-based experience in fire system design

• Proficient in AutoCAD, Dia LUX, MS Office

• In-depth knowledge of DCD, NFPA, and UAE fire codes

• Experience with Data Centre Projects and associated fire protection systems

• Must possess a valid UAE Driving License

• Age: Up to 40 years

• Residence: Currently based in the United Arab Emirates
