SKM Air Conditioning LLC is currently seeking a highly skilled Design Engineer to join their team in Sharjah. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating accurate 3D shop floor layout designs using Autodesk Inventor, developing new HVAC product designs, and optimizing existing systems through iLogic automation. This full-time, on-site role requires a detail-oriented engineering professional with expertise in HVAC components and value engineering.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop 3D models of AHUs and FCUs using Autodesk Inventor.

• Produce detailed 2D drawings from 3D models for manufacturing.

• Ensure accurate mechanical component representation including fans, heat exchangers, and filters.

• Conduct dimensional and tolerance analysis to ensure manufacturability.

• Create custom parts and assemblies as per specifications.

• Apply value engineering to enhance design efficiency and reduce costs.

• Propose design changes to minimize material usage and simplify assembly.

• Implement iLogic automation scripts to streamline design processes.

• Build parameter-driven designs for easy project-specific customizations.

• Maintain a library of automated templates and manage version control.

• Generate accurate Bills of Materials (BOMs), parts lists, and technical specifications.

• Provide regular reports on design progress and resolutions to encountered challenges.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Proficiency in Autodesk Inventor with a strong understanding of iLogic automation.

• Experience in HVAC design, specifically with AHUs and FCUs.

• Strong analytical skills for dimensional analysis and manufacturability.

• Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple design tasks and versions.

• Knowledge in value engineering and optimizing manufacturing workflows.
