Dutco Interiors is seeking a Design Coordinator with a strong background in interior design to join our dynamic team in Dubai. This role involves leading the technical execution of interior design projects from concept to completion, ensuring the highest level of quality and compliance with project timelines.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the development and delivery of approval, schematic, detailed, and IFC design/drawing packages

• Create, update, and maintain DWG registers for review by designers and project managers

• Conduct site visits, surveys, and coordinate with on-site teams to verify IFC conditions

• Collaborate with senior designers to raise and resolve technical concerns through workshops and RFIs

• Provide quality control and oversight on deliverables from draughtsmen and sub-teams

• Represent the technical team in client meetings and maintain professional communication

• Coordinate with architects and designers to finalize and present design concepts

• Document all design updates, ensure compliance with standards, and manage change logs

• Drive innovation by contributing to the improvement of internal design engineering processes

• Encourage team development and lead by example in terms of professionalism and accountability

Requirements

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Architecture

• Experience: 5–7 years of experience in interior design coordination or a related field

• Skills:

  • Proficient in AutoCAD and DWG management

  • Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills

  • Strong understanding of interior design documentation and specifications

  • Ability to manage time effectively and meet strict project deadlines

  • Capable of working under pressure and flexible with work hours and location (including site office)

• Other: Valid UAE Driving License required

• Location Preference: Must be a UAE resident
