Reneco International Wildlife Consultants LLC is looking for a Database Specialist to join its IT department and contribute to the preservation of the Houbara bustard populations. This full-time, on-site role offers an exciting opportunity to work on cutting-edge conservation projects across multiple regions.
Key Responsibilities:

Analyze business needs and create functional specifications for various departments (breeding, veterinary, ecology).

Propose and implement solutions that align with company strategy.

Optimize Intranet business applications, including data typing, managing technical term dictionaries, and defining input forms.

Maintain and develop legacy business applications, particularly in Access.
-
Consolidate data from various centers and develop BI/dashboarding solutions (Tableau).
-
Interface data with other departments (GIS, ERP, BMS).

Assist with data curation, extraction, and querying in SQL Server and Access.
-
Provide training and support for internal users of business applications.
-
Coordinate technical follow-ups with service providers.
Qualifications & Skills:
-
Education: Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Agronomy, Ecology, Biology, Breeding, or related field.

Experience: At least 2 years of experience working with SQL (T-SQL and SQL Server). Experience in relevant fields (agronomy, ecology, biology) is a plus.

Technical Skills:
-
Strong knowledge of SQL Server, T-SQL, and data management.
-
Experience with Access and VBA is an asset.
-
Familiarity with BI tools (Tableau) is advantageous.

Basic Python knowledge and experience with GIS (Esri ArcGIS Pro) is a plus.

Understanding of system/network fundamentals (Active Directory, IP, DNS) is desirable.

Knowledge of descriptive statistics and data mining/signal analysis is a bonus.
