Job Title: Data Migration Lead (SAP)

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Migration Lead for a six-month extendable project to manage and execute large-scale SAP data migration initiatives. The Data Migration Lead will be responsible for developing, implementing, and executing a robust data migration strategy, ensuring the successful transfer of data while maintaining high data quality, integrity, and consistency post-migration.

The ideal candidate will oversee the entire data migration process, from initial scoping and planning to execution and post-migration validation. You will ensure that data is accurately transferred, aligned with business processes, and in compliance with industry standards and regulations.

Key responsibilities include establishing and maintaining strong data governance frameworks, implementing quality controls to minimize risks, and providing strategic guidance to both business and technical stakeholders. You will drive process improvements and leverage innovative solutions to enhance data management efficiency and performance.

As a Data Migration Lead, your leadership, risk mitigation expertise, and ability to engage stakeholders effectively are crucial to the successful delivery of SAP migration projects, helping to maximize business value from data assets.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage large-scale SAP data migration projects (e.g., ECC to S/4HANA or Legacy to S/4HANA).
• Develop and implement a comprehensive data migration strategy, ensuring high data quality, integrity, and consistency.
• Oversee the end-to-end data migration process: from scoping and planning to execution and post-migration validation.
• Establish and maintain data governance frameworks and quality control measures to minimize risks and ensure compliance.
• Drive strategic decision-making by providing expert advice to business and technical teams.
• Lead process improvements and leverage innovative solutions to enhance data management efficiency and performance.
• Ensure the migration aligns with business processes, minimizing disruptions.
• Engage with business and technical stakeholders to ensure alignment and successful project outcomes.
• Manage data security, privacy regulations, and compliance throughout the migration process.
• Lead stakeholder management and drive collaboration to achieve project goals.

Skills & Experience:

• Extensive experience in leading large-scale SAP data migration projects (e.g., ECC to S/4HANA or Legacy to S/4HANA).
• In-depth knowledge of SAP data models, master data, transactional data, and data migration tools (e.g., SAP Data Services, Migration Cockpit, or others).
• Experience with Keyloop (Autoline DRIVE) is an added value.
• Proven expertise in defining and implementing data governance, data quality, and data management frameworks.
• Excellent leadership and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and drive results across both business and technical teams.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on delivering business value through data.
• Experience managing complex data landscapes and resolving data quality issues.
• Solid understanding of data security, privacy regulations, and best practices.
• Strong communication, presentation, and technical documentation skills.
• Experience with cloud-based data migration solutions (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Knowledge of data integration tools and ETL frameworks.
• Certification in SAP and/or data management methodologies.
• Familiarity with Agile project delivery frameworks.

Salary: AED 20,000 per month (inclusive of fixed allowances)
