We are seeking a Data & Examinations Officer (Designate) to join our school community from August 2025. This pivotal role blends academic operations, digital transformation, and data-driven strategy to support high-performance learning across Key Stages 4 and 5.

The successful candidate will build and lead our digital data infrastructure using iSAMS, manage examination systems, ensure regulatory compliance, and contribute to real-time analytics and academic insights for school leadership. You will work closely with the Innovation, Technology, and Research (ITR) team to align our digital ecosystem with next-generation learning platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

Digital Ecosystem & Data Management

• Lead the development and implementation of an integrated data system using iSAMS as the core MIS.

• Ensure secure, real-time data flow across AI-enhanced learning platforms, dashboards, and analytics tools.

• Collaborate with the ITR team to align student performance data with predictive learning feedback systems.

• Develop and maintain real-time dashboards for Senior Leadership Team (SLT) planning and interventions.

Information Governance & Compliance

• Ensure full compliance with KHDA, DSIB, and UAE education regulations.

• Implement GDPR-aligned data governance protocols, including access control and safeguarding.

• Maintain audit-readiness with robust data documentation and system oversight.

Assessment & Academic Insight

• Manage GL assessments and diagnostic testing platforms.

• Lead data collection for formative assessment and feed into personalized learning algorithms.

• Generate performance analytics, predictions, and tracking reports to support academic decisions.

Examinations Management (KS4/KS5)

• Establish digital workflows for exams including IGCSE, GCSE, and A-Level qualifications.

• Oversee logistics such as invigilation planning, seating arrangements, exam clashes, and access needs.

• Ensure examination procedures meet international best practice standards.

Staff Training & Data Literacy

• Train school staff on using MIS (iSAMS), Power BI, and data analytics tools.

• Promote a data-literate culture that empowers educators with actionable insights.

• Support teachers in using data to plan, differentiate, and communicate learning progress.

Strategic Analytics & Innovation

• Contribute to the design of real-time academic dashboards and predictive tools under SRI’s “Pioneer XP” system.

• Partner with vendors (e.g., Microsoft, GL Assessment) to embed innovation into school analytics.

• Drive strategic initiatives around attendance, attainment, and targeted interventions.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (Master’s preferred).

• Minimum 3 years of experience managing school data systems, ideally in a British curriculum context.

• Strong expertise with iSAMS and other MIS tools, including API/data pipeline integration.

• Proficiency in Power BI, Excel, or equivalent visualization software.

• Familiarity with UAE education policies, exams, and compliance frameworks.

• Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly.

• Experience in AI-based learning environments or digital transformation is a strong plus.
