Richemont is looking for a highly motivated and experienced Data Analytics Engineer to develop and maintain advanced data products. The ideal candidate will have extensive technical expertise and will collaborate with stakeholders to meet business requirements, ensuring data accuracy and performance. The role involves using tools like Google Looker and dbt to build data visualization solutions and ensure reliable data flows for analytics purposes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate data needs into actionable requirements.

• Develop and maintain business-ready data products using tools like dbt.

• Utilize platforms such as Google Looker for building data visualizations.

• Oversee project delivery, ensuring the right tools, foundations, and user adoption.

• Maintain technical documentation and data definitions.

• Set up monitoring tools to assess performance, issues, and product adoption.

• Ensure consistency, accuracy, and performance of delivered data flows.

• Promote data culture and awareness through training and support.

Required Experience:

• 4+ years in analytics/data engineering, ideally in an international context.

• Proficiency in SQL and developing data models.

• Experience with cloud data warehouses (GCP – BigQuery).

• Strong knowledge of analytics tools and concepts.

• Expertise in Looker (LookML) and data transformation tools like dbt.

Personal Skills:

• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with a focus on teamwork.

• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

• Experience working in global organizations and MEIA IT markets.

• Fluent in written and spoken English (Arabic is a plus).

Education:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
