KPMG Lower Gulf is looking for a Data Analytics Assistant Manager – Forensics to manage and oversee data analytics assignments, specifically focused on identifying fraud patterns, anomalies, and outliers. The role requires strong technical knowledge in data analytics, proficiency in coding languages (SQL, Python, R), and experience with reporting tools such as Power BI, Tableau, and SSRS.
Key Responsibilities:

Independently manage forensic data analytics assignments from start to finish.

Analyze and identify fraud patterns and anomalies within data.
-
Develop and maintain reports and presentations for senior stakeholders.
-
Supervise junior staff, providing technical guidance and ensuring adherence to risk management procedures.
-
Participate in client meetings, preparing proposals and terms of reference.
-
Contribute to business development activities and client management.
-
Stay updated on global and local forensic activities, sharing knowledge with the team.
-
Assist in preparing forensic reports and deliverables with limited supervision.
-
Coach and guide junior staff, overseeing their growth and performance.
-
Allocate work effectively among junior staff and act as a performance manager for at least four staff members.
Required Qualifications and Skills:

Strong experience in data analytics, including identifying fraud patterns.

Proficiency in at least two coding languages (e.g., SQL, Python, R).

Experience with reporting tools (Power BI, Tableau, SSRS).

Knowledge of data integration, modeling, and transformation.

Strong understanding of global/local risk management procedures.
-
Ability to create and deliver engaging reports and presentations.

Strong leadership and mentoring skills.

Experience in forensic reporting, client management, and business development.
Desired Candidate Competencies:

Strong background in technology, forensic tech, or data analytics in audit.

Excellent communication skills in both written and verbal forms.

Experience in accounting, law enforcement, forensic technology, or legal fields is preferred.

Fluent in English – both verbal and written.
Additional Certifications:

Microsoft certified Power BI data analyst.

Tableau certified data analyst.

Microsoft SQL Server Certification.
