Job Purpose

To ensure profitable growth of the Group Health portfolio by extracting, analyzing, and visualizing healthcare data, issuing reports, supporting pricing decisions, and collaborating across teams to enhance data quality and portfolio performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Extract and process healthcare data using SQL and Python

• Create dashboards and visualizations using Power BI; optimize data with Power Query

• Work with Pricing team and Data Lake teams to ensure accurate data delivery

• Prepare Health Portfolio risk analyses, trend monitoring, and loss ratio reports

• Support sales/distribution with data-driven strategies and proposals

• Suggest adjustments or alternative pricing strategies for underperforming accounts

• Build and maintain common medical database across departments

• Provide automated, insightful reporting solutions for internal and external use

• Interact with clients/intermediaries as needed to explain insights or pricing decisions

Requirements

Essential:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Actuarial Sciences, or Computer Science

• Expert proficiency in:

  • Python, SQL, Power BI, Power Query, R

• Proficiency with:

  • Excel (Advanced), PowerPoint, Word

  • Dashboard development and automated reporting

• Strong analytical, communication, and presentation skills

Desirable:

• Recognized certifications in SQL, Python, Power BI

• Knowledge of VBA, Tableau
