Position Summary:
Emirates Logistics is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Customs Co-worker to join our team in Dubai. The ideal candidate will assist in customs documentation and clearance processes, ensuring timely and accurate handling of import and export shipments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process DP World payments within the same day of Bill of Entry (BOE) or Export Declaration (ED) date.

  • Download and merge inbound documents within 24 hours of BOE processing.

  • Download and merge outbound documents within 24 hours of receiving all documents.

  • File Non-Remittance Claims within two days of receiving the final Sea Waybill (SWB).

  • Create folders and save files for outbound shipments after ED processing.

  • Check and update Certificate of Knowledge (COK) status for inbound shipments.

  • Support inbound and outbound teams in achieving Key Result Areas (KRAs).

  • Verify and ensure the correctness of documents before processing.

  • Process inbound and outbound Bills of Entry (BOE).

  • Update and maintain Invoice & EDI data on the EL master file, ensuring accuracy and timely entry.

  • Create and forward shipments from DCO within two days after Actual Time of Departure (ATD); escalate issues to ISME if needed.

  • Follow up on escalated documentation issues.

  • Verify Bills of Lading (BL) for consumable shipments (DDU/DAP) within 24 hours of receiving SWB and update accordingly.

  • Ensure complete documentation sets are ready for handover.

  • Update BOE numbers and maintain master file accuracy.

  • Regularly update EL Master based on arrival reports/ITM and maintain Consumables Tracker.

  • Check and process Elux/MWPP shipment information within 24 hours of arrival.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor’s Degree required.

  • Entry-level position; previous relevant experience is a plus.

  • Strong knowledge of computers and proficiency in MS Excel and MS Office.

  • Basic knowledge of Dubai Trade procedures.

  • Fast and accurate data entry skills.

  • Excellent English proficiency, both written and spoken.

  • Alert, proactive, and detail-oriented attitude.
