Position Overview

We are looking for an experienced Customs Clearance and Shipping Specialist to manage import and export clearance procedures efficiently. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience in the Jebel Ali area and possess strong knowledge of UAE customs regulations. This role requires attention to detail, compliance expertise, and effective coordination with shipping companies and government authorities.

Key Responsibilities

🚢 Customs Clearance & Shipping Operations

• Handle customs clearance procedures for imports and exports.
• Prepare and process shipping and customs documents with accuracy.
• Ensure compliance with UAE and international customs regulations.
• Coordinate with shipping companies, freight forwarders, and government authorities.
• Resolve delays and issues related to customs clearance and shipping.

📜 Regulatory Compliance & Documentation

• Stay updated on customs laws, trade agreements, and regulatory changes.
• Verify and submit necessary documentation for smooth clearance.
• Maintain detailed records of shipments and customs transactions.

🤝 Customer Service & Stakeholder Coordination

• Provide exceptional customer service to clients and partners.
• Liaise with internal teams and external stakeholders for efficient shipping operations.
• Ensure timely communication regarding shipment status and customs updates.

Requirements

✔ Experience & Expertise

• Minimum 3 years of experience in customs clearance and shipping (Jebel Ali area preferred).
• Strong understanding of UAE customs regulations and clearance procedures.

• Excellent organizational skills and ability to work under pressure.
• Proficiency in ERP systems, shipping platforms, and relevant software.
