The Oklahoma City Zoo and Botanical Garden is seeking a Part-Time Custodian to help maintain the cleanliness and presentation of zoo facilities. This hands-on role involves general cleaning, groundskeeping, and guest service support to ensure a safe and welcoming environment for all visitors.

Key Responsibilities:

• Clean and sanitize assigned indoor areas, including public restrooms, floors, windows, and furniture.

• Perform outdoor maintenance such as litter collection, trash removal, and clearing sidewalks and parking areas.

• Operate light cleaning equipment like floor scrubbers and waxing machines.

• Assist with setup and cleanup for special events at the zoo.

• Conduct minor repairs and maintenance as required.

• Provide excellent guest service by assisting visitors with directions and questions.

Requirements:

• Must be able to perform physical tasks including lifting, cleaning, and using light machinery.

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and safety.

• Ability to interact professionally with guests and staff.

• Successful completion of a pre-employment background check.

• Previous custodial or facility maintenance experience is a plus.

Compensation:

• Hourly Rate: AED 14.48 (converted from USD if applicable)

• Employment Type: Part-Time
