Role Overview

We are seeking a Curriculum Developer/Instructor III to join our team in the United Arab Emirates. This is a unique opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies, providing both instructional design and hands-on technical training support to our internal teams and customers.


Key Responsibilities

  • Curriculum Development: Design and develop global technical curriculum for instructor-led and online delivery formats.

  • Training Material Creation: Write instructional materials for various formats including video, instructor-led, and self-paced training.

  • Curriculum Auditing and Feedback: Ensure that curriculum standards are met by auditing existing material, providing continual feedback, and improving training processes.

  • Instructor Training: Evaluate and train instructors to ensure delivery aligns with curriculum standards.

  • Technical Support: Provide technical guidance and troubleshooting support for Panasonic Avionics systems, products, and processes.

  • Field Engineering Support: Support engineering activities and provide troubleshooting assistance for system/hardware/software issues.

  • Platform Instruction: Deliver technical training in various formats and manage student records, evaluations, and practical exercises.

  • Document Management: Develop and maintain training manuals, exams, and technical documentation.

  • Client Support: Interact with customers to ensure satisfaction and troubleshoot issues related to Panasonic equipment.


Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree preferred.

  • Experience: Minimum of 5+ years of experience in technical curriculum development in a corporate environment.

  • Industry Experience: Experience with aircraft maintenance practices, avionics, and/or in-flight entertainment systems preferred.

  • Technical Skills:

    • Familiarity with aviation systems, electronics/avionics systems, and audio/video production.

    • Working knowledge of global civil aviation regulations and aviation maintenance standards.

    • Experience with Linux/Unix commands, TCP/IP networks, and troubleshooting techniques.

    • Proficient in Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Visio).

    • Experience with Learning Management System (LMS) administration and e-learning technologies.

  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to present complex technical information in an engaging and clear manner.

  • Travel: Ability to travel domestically or internationally approximately 30% of the time.


Desired Skills

  • Strong understanding of aviation maintenance practices, including the ability to interpret wiring diagrams and manuals.

  • Experience working with FAA, CAA, and ATA standards for avionics equipment.

  • Knowledge of training methodologies and adult learning principles.

  • Proficient in developing and delivering various training curriculum types.
