Job Description
We’re seeking a Creative Producer to lead video production for GQ Middle East on a freelance basis. The successful candidate will create engaging, “social-first” video content and support YouTube production operations, ensuring high standards across all formats. This is a hands-on, fast-paced role that requires strong editorial insight, technical expertise, and creativity.
Key Responsibilities

Produce and manage social video series across multiple platforms

Lead pre-production, production, and post-production of video projects

Develop timelines, budgets, shot lists, and oversee vendors and locations

Direct and shoot YouTube longform videos; oversee editing and quality control

Collaborate with editorial, social, and global teams to ensure cohesive storytelling

Optimize video programming using data and audience engagement insights
-
Identify trending topics and create relevant video content on tight timelines

Support branded content and commercial video partnerships

Represent the video team in meetings and cross-functional collaborations

Mentor editorial talent for on-camera appearances and regular programming
Requirements
-
4+ years of experience in media, production, or freelance video creation

Proven ability to shoot, direct, and edit—especially with Premiere Pro
-
Strong portfolio of social-first and mobile-optimized content
-
Experience in YouTube or longform production

Understanding of digital video audiences and attention-driving formats
-
Proficient in vertical video production and short-form social storytelling

Knowledge of Middle East audiences and regional content preferences

Excellent communication, time management, and problem-solving skills

Positive attitude and ability to juggle multiple projects simultaneously

Experience with commercial clients or branded video is a plus
