The School of Calligraphy & Ornamentation is looking for a Creative Events Coordinator to lead and execute arts, cultural, and design-based events across the UAE. This full-time, on-site position requires a strategic and imaginative planner with a passion for curating meaningful experiences in the creative industries. The ideal candidate will be responsible for end-to-end event coordination, from concept design and budgeting to vendor negotiations and execution.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop creative concepts for exhibitions, product launches, festivals, and bespoke cultural events

• Coordinate event timelines, deliverables, and manage high-value budgets

• Design mood boards, visual presentations, and detailed proposals that align with client and brand visions

• Negotiate with vendors, sponsors, and artists while maintaining event quality and cost-efficiency

• Collaborate with curators, designers, performers, and marketing teams to create immersive experiences

• Oversee all logistical elements including venue setup, AV, décor, and onsite troubleshooting

• Ensure events align with brand identity and client expectations

• Engage diverse audiences through culturally relevant and artistically inspired programming

• Integrate sustainability, tech innovations, and cutting-edge design into event planning

• Stay current with regional and international trends in the creative and cultural sectors

Job Requirements:

• Proven experience in organizing large-scale art, design, or cultural events

• Fluency in Arabic and English, with strong written and verbal communication

• Bachelor’s degree in Event Management, Art & Design, Marketing, or related field

• Proficiency in event software, Adobe Creative Suite, CAD tools, and Canva/PowerPoint

• Exceptional multitasking, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills

• Experience working with local art communities and executing international collaborations

• Calm under pressure, solution-focused, and customer-service oriented
