Jesseena Human Resources is urgently hiring a Counselor for a prestigious government hospital in Doha, Qatar. This is a full-time, on-site role focused on supporting healthcare staff through confidential counseling services and developing the organization’s volunteer and supervision frameworks. The ideal candidate will bring compassion, clinical expertise, and cultural sensitivity to this vital mental health support role.

Responsibilities:

• Implement and oversee the Clinical Supervision Framework for counsellors

• Provide one-on-one and group counseling to healthcare staff

• Mentor counselors and nursing staff to improve mental health support practices

• Lead training programs in basic counseling and emotional support

• Collaborate with psychiatric and medical teams for integrated care

• Refer staff to specialized external services when necessary

• Guide and support volunteer recruitment and development

• Ensure confidentiality, cultural respect, and emotional support for all staff and volunteers

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Counselling, Psychology, or Social Services (mandatory)

• Minimum 6 years of counseling experience in a healthcare environment

• Experience with clinical supervision, mentoring, and volunteer coordination

• Strong decision-making ability and resilience in emotionally demanding situations

• Empathetic, professional, and culturally aware communication style
