Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Cost Control Manager to join our high-performing construction team in Dubai. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing cost management processes across multiple projects, ensuring they stay within budget while maintaining quality standards. Strong analytical skills, effective team collaboration, and a proactive approach to cost efficiency are essential for success in this role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and enforce cost control policies and procedures to manage and track project expenditures.

• Prepare and review detailed cost estimates, budgets, and financial forecasts for construction projects.

• Analyze and monitor project costs, identifying opportunities for cost reduction and efficiency improvements.

• Collaborate with project managers, procurement, and finance teams to ensure accurate cost reporting and budget compliance.

• Monitor and report on cost performance, delivering regular updates to senior management.

• Conduct cost-related risk assessments, and propose mitigation strategies to keep projects on track.

• Ensure adherence to financial regulations, internal controls, and project specifications.

• Lead and mentor the cost control team, providing training to enhance their skills and expertise.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Finance, or a related field.

• At least 10 years of experience in cost control within the construction industry.

• Proficiency in cost control software and project management tools.

• Excellent analytical skills, with a strong focus on detail and accuracy.

• Ability to work under pressure, managing multiple projects simultaneously.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with internal teams.

• Proactive problem-solving and data-driven decision-making abilities.

• Familiarity with UAE construction laws, regulations, and the local market is highly desirable.
