We are seeking a Cost and Management Accountant to join our team in Dubai. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in manufacturing processes, financial accounting systems, and cost analysis. You will be responsible for studying the company’s business and manufacturing processes, working with technical and commercial teams, and developing a cost management system that facilitates product costing and periodic analysis.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Cost Analysis: Study and analyze the manufacturing and business processes, including the financial accounting system, to determine activity-wise and product-wise costs on a standard basis.

• Collaboration: Work closely with the company’s technical and commercial teams to collect inputs and develop cost structures for each activity and product.

• System Review: Conduct a detailed review of the existing costing system and perform a gap analysis to identify areas for improvement.

• System Design: Design and implement a new costing system to enable accurate product costing on a periodic basis.

• Cost Calculation: Calculate the product cost for each period based on the new costing system and ensure accuracy.

• User Education: Educate the relevant teams on the methodology of product costing and guide them on using the new system effectively.

Desired Candidate Profile:

• Education: B. Com + CMA (Certified Management Accountant) qualified.

• Experience: 3-5 years of experience in manufacturing companies, preferably at a mid-level.

• Skills:

  • Strong understanding of costing systems and manufacturing processes.

  • Ability to design and implement new financial and cost accounting systems.

  • Analytical skills to conduct gap analysis and recommend improvements.

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with multiple teams.
