Clyde & Co is seeking a Corporate Associate/Senior Associate to join its Corporate/M&A team in Abu Dhabi. The successful candidate will work closely with the highly respected partner, Dr. Roshanak Bassiri Gharb, advising clients in industries such as healthcare, insurance, logistics, and FMCG. The role involves a range of corporate, M&A transactions, corporate advisory, corporate governance matters, and investment fund set-up. The position offers significant autonomy, with a strong focus on client relationship development and business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

• Corporate/M&A Experience: Advise on complex corporate and M&A transactions, corporate governance, and investment fund set-ups.

• Client Interaction: Engage with clients, fostering strong relationships, and supporting business development efforts.

• Teamwork and Collaboration: Work as part of a dynamic, collaborative team, contributing to matter outcomes and supporting junior associates.

• Client Relationships: Develop client rapport and business development, leveraging a friendly, people-focused attitude.

• Regional Experience: Apply knowledge of the Middle East market, with preference for experience in healthcare, insurance, and regulatory sectors.

• Bilingual Advantage: Proficiency in both English and Arabic is preferred.

Qualifications:

• Experience: Mid to Senior Associate level with strong corporate/M&A background from private practice or a mix of in-house and private practice experience.

• Regional Expertise: Preferably experience in the Middle East with knowledge of sectors such as healthcare, insurance, and regulatory.

• Skills: Strong academic credentials, exceptional verbal and written communication skills, and strong time management.

• Team Player: Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively while managing competing priorities.

• Commitment to Growth: A performance-driven and growth-oriented approach with strong client development skills.
