The Department of Culture and Tourism – Abu Dhabi (DCT Abu Dhabi) is looking for a talented, bilingual Copywriter to join their dynamic team. This is a full-time, on-site position ideal for a creative professional with a strong background in writing for museums, cultural institutions, or similar environments. The ideal candidate is a versatile communicator and grammar expert who can craft compelling content that aligns with DCT Abu Dhabi’s tone and engages both local and international audiences.
Key Responsibilities:

Exhibition & Interpretive Texts: Write accessible, engaging exhibition labels, wall texts, and multimedia content in collaboration with curators and designers.

Marketing & Digital Content: Create impactful copy for digital platforms including websites, email, and social media, tailored to diverse audiences.

Editorial & Publications: Contribute to catalogues, brochures, and printed materials; proofread and edit for clarity, tone, and consistency.

Interdepartmental Collaboration: Work cross-functionally with Marketing, Website, Curatorial, Education, and Design teams to ensure cohesive messaging.

Content & Brand Standards: Uphold brand voice and accessibility standards across all written materials.
Requirements:

Experience: 8–10 years of copywriting experience, preferably in museums, cultural institutions, or similar sectors.

Languages: Fluency in English is required; Arabic is highly preferred.

Strong creative writing, editing, and proofreading skills.

Ability to translate complex ideas into accessible content for general audiences.
