Petrofac, a leading international service provider to the energy industry, is hiring a Coordinator I – PTW to join its operations in Abu Dhabi. This role focuses on managing the Permit-to-Work (PTW) system, ensuring safety compliance, and coordinating permits across multiple stakeholders within oil & gas projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain updated registers and tracking of permits and certificates, including display boards for active permits and isolations.

• Ensure all permits include the necessary approvals, risk assessments, JSAs, method statements, drawings, and signatures.

• Verify that permit signatories meet client competency requirements and maintain approved Permit Applicant/Holder logs.

• Coordinate with subcontractor PTW coordinators, reviewing planned activities and supporting documents.

• Communicate daily PTW logs to Construction, Commissioning, and HSSE teams.

• Organize and manage PTW coordination meetings, ensuring smooth permit issuance and compliance.

• File and archive closed-out permits for record-keeping.

• Collaborate with client PTW coordinators for approvals and attend daily SIMOPS/PTW meetings.

• Conduct site audits with HSSE and Construction/Commissioning teams to ensure compliance with PTW standards.

Candidate Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree (4 years) OR Diploma (3 years) from a recognized institution.

• Minimum 5 years of PTW experience in the Oil & Gas industry.

• Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills to explain PTW procedures clearly.

• Ability to multitask and take a proactive approach in managing safety systems.

• Knowledge of EPC environments and safety protocols.
