Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare, cook, and present high-quality dishes according to established recipes and standards.

• Ensure all menu items are prepared with precision, taste, and presentation that meet Marriott standards.

• Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and organization within the kitchen and food preparation areas.

• Follow proper food handling and safety procedures in compliance with Marriott International’s policies.

• Collaborate with the culinary team to ensure timely and efficient food service.

• Monitor inventory levels and assist in maintaining stock control and kitchen supplies.

• Support the Head Chef and Sous Chefs in creating new menu items and improving existing ones.

• Adhere to hotel policies, sustainability goals, and kitchen operational guidelines.

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a Cook, Commis, or in a similar culinary role in a hotel or restaurant environment.

• Strong understanding of kitchen operations, food safety, and hygiene standards.

• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

• Passion for cooking and continuous learning in culinary arts.

• Team-oriented attitude with excellent communication and time management skills.

• Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
