Monjasa, a prominent global partner in the oil and shipping industry, is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Controller to join its Finance team in Dubai, overseeing operations across the Middle East and Africa. This role is perfect for a finance professional with strong analytical abilities, keen attention to detail, and experience in financial controlling, auditing, or accounting. You will play a central role in supporting Monjasa’s financial integrity and ensuring regional compliance aligned with global standards.

The successful candidate will report directly to the Finance Director and contribute to financial management and reporting, regulatory compliance, and continuous process improvements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform monthly and annual financial controlling and review activities

• Manage month-end and year-end closing processes

• Support budgeting and forecasting processes, ensuring timely submissions

• Ensure financial and tax compliance, including VAT filings and audits

• Monitor cost structures and assist in cost control and estimation

• Participate in financial and cross-functional projects within the Group

• Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders including auditors

• Maintain oversight of derivatives and financial contract management

• Provide data-driven insights to guide business decisions

• Ensure alignment with Monjasa’s global finance procedures and policies

Qualifications & Skills:

Professional Requirements:

• Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field

• Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar financial controller or auditing role

• Experience in the shipping or oil industry is an advantage

• Proficient in Microsoft Office; knowledge of Microsoft NAV is a plus

• Fluent in English (written and spoken); additional languages are a bonus
