Job Overview

J10 Consulting is seeking an experienced Contracts Manager to join a multi-national design and supervision consultancy in Dubai. This role is ideal for professionals with a strong background in contract management for luxury villas, mansions, and residential apartment projects. The position is a 12-month fixed-term contract, available for immediate joining.

The Contracts Manager will oversee contract administration, risk management, and commercial compliance, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and according to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead contract review, negotiation, and execution for construction projects, including subcontracts and supply agreements.

• Monitor contractor and supplier performance, ensuring compliance with contractual obligations, timelines, and quality standards.

• Manage variation orders, claims, and change management procedures in line with contracts.

• Coordinate with project teams, external consultants, and clients to resolve disputes and contractual issues efficiently.

• Conduct risk assessments of contract terms and implement mitigation strategies for cost, schedule, and legal risks.

• Review progress payment applications and ensure compliance with contract terms.

• Maintain organized records of contracts, correspondence, variations, claims, and other documentation.

• Prepare and submit detailed weekly and monthly contract reports to senior management.

• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients regarding contractual matters.

• Ensure alignment between contractual obligations and overall project objectives, working closely with the project management team.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, Law, Construction Management, or related field.

• Minimum 15 years’ experience in contracts management or commercial management for large-scale construction projects in the UAE/GCC.

• Proven expertise in luxury residential, hospitality, mixed-use, or commercial projects.

• Strong knowledge of construction contracts (FIDIC, JCT, or equivalent) and contract law.

• Hands-on experience with site supervision, contractors, and supplier management.

• Proficient in contract management software and Microsoft Office Suite.

• Professional certifications such as MRICS, PMP, or equivalent are highly desirable.

• Exceptional negotiation, analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

• Ability to manage multiple priorities, deadlines, and complex contractual matters.
