ENGIE is hiring a Contract Manager to oversee contract compliance and risk management for a landmark 1,500 MW Solar PV Project in Abu Dhabi. This full-time, permanent role offers a unique opportunity to be a part of the UAE’s vision for a sustainable energy future. You will be instrumental in contract negotiation, compliance, claims management, and maintaining stakeholder relationships, working in a dynamic multinational environment focused on renewable energy and innovation.
Job Responsibilities:

Ensure all contract management activities align with project agreements and regulatory standards.

Develop risk mitigation strategies and support project team awareness of contractual obligations.

Lead negotiations and maintain compliance with EPC contract and Power Purchase Agreement (PPA).

Administer change requests, contractual documentation, and compliance reporting.

Monitor contract performance against KPIs: milestones, claims, deliverables.

Coordinate project bonds, guarantees, and insurances as per contractual terms.

Manage stakeholder communication: internal departments, EPC contractors, government entities, and the offtaker.

Support legal team in reviewing critical contractual correspondences.

Foster strong relationships with local communities and project partners.

Promote safety, sustainability, and quality standards across contract management.
Skills Required:
-
Minimum 10 years of contract management experience in construction or infrastructure projects, ideally in power or renewable energy sectors.

Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Law, Engineering, or related field.

Certification such as CCCM (Certified Commercial Contracts Manager) preferred.

Excellent written and verbal English; Arabic is a plus.

Proficient in MS Office and other contract database platforms.

Strong analytical, negotiation, decision-making, and communication skills.

Experience working in joint ventures and multinational environments.

Demonstrated leadership and ability to work independently under tight deadlines.

Cultural awareness and adaptability in diverse work environments.
Key Relationships:

Internal: Project Company Management, Engineering, Procurement, Legal, HSE, Finance, HR teams.

External: EPC Contractor, Offtaker, Regulatory Authorities, and other stakeholders.
