KPMG Lower Gulf is looking for a Consultant – Environment and Sustainability Governance Services to join its growing sustainability team in Dubai. This role will focus on advising clients across industries on sustainability strategies, ESG frameworks, decarbonization efforts, and regulatory readiness. Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to address ESG, sustainability, and decarbonization challenges across various industries.

• Analyze corporate ESG performance and develop strategic recommendations and frameworks.

• Lead materiality assessments, stakeholder engagement, gap analyses, and ESG KPI development aligned with international standards such as GRI, TCFD, SASB, and UNGC.

• Supervise junior staff in conducting data collection, fieldwork, and drafting high-quality reports and presentations.

• Support business development, client relationships, and creation of thought leadership content.

• Review ESG trends, regulatory developments, and sustainability data.

• Ensure project quality, manage budgets, and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders.

• Mentor and support junior team members’ professional development.

Qualifications:

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in ESG, Sustainability, or a related field.

Work Experience:

• 4–5 years of experience, preferably in sustainability consulting.

• Global Reporting Initiative (GRI)

• Task Force on Climate-related Financial Disclosures (TCFD)

• Sustainability Accounting Standards Board (SASB)

• UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)

• United Nations Global Compact (UNGC)

• ISO 14001, ISO 45001, ISO 50001

• Social Return on Investment (SROI)
