Job Title: Construction Foreman

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced and proactive Construction Foreman to oversee day-to-day operations at active worksites. This is a critical leadership position for someone with 1–3 years of hands-on construction experience and a passion for team management, safety, and efficiency.

As a Construction Foreman, you will coordinate crews, manage resources, ensure adherence to safety standards, and keep projects on schedule and within budget. Your ability to lead teams and make quick, informed decisions will be essential to the successful execution of various construction tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

• Organize and oversee daily work schedules, adjusting for weather, supplies, or staffing as needed.

• Assign tasks and responsibilities to construction crews and subcontractors.

• Recruit, onboard, train, and manage workers, fostering a productive and safe work environment.

• Ensure compliance with safety regulations, including proper use of tools, machinery, and PPE.

• Monitor project budgets, resource allocation, and overall work quality on-site.

• Identify and resolve any issues or conflicts among crew members or contractors.

• Maintain regular communication with site engineers, supervisors, and project managers.

• Provide status updates and progress reports on project milestones.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher diploma in construction management, civil engineering, or a related field.

• 1–3 years of supervisory or field experience in the construction industry.

• Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.

• In-depth knowledge of construction tools, machinery, and safety practices.

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, construction plans, and safety regulations.

• Team-oriented with a proactive and adaptable mindset.

Work Conditions:

• Full-time, site-based role.

• Requires flexibility to work in various weather conditions and adapt to shifting project needs.

• May involve weekend or extended hours to meet deadlines.
